2018 Statutory Increases
The National Minimum Wage and the National Living Wage are the legally binding hourly rates introduced in Parliament by the Chancellor of the Exchequer in July 2015.
From April 2018 the National Living Wage will increase to £7.83 per hour from the current rate of £7.50 for those aged 25 and over (4.4% increase). The National Minimum Wage for those aged between 21-24 will increase to £7.38 (4.7% increase) and to £5.90 for those aged between 18-20 (5.4% increase) from April 2018.
Logosoft provides quick and easy methods for customers to apply such changes to their pay rates to ensure compliance. With the click of a few buttons, employees receiving National Living Wage can be identified and their rate per hour can be adjusted by a percentage or fixed amount. Of course, contract rates can be changed using the same method.
